While hiking in New Zealand I fell in love with the Tui's call. Such a fun bird! Every time I heard a Tai sing it stopped me in my tracks, and I had to listen to its call.

The tūī (Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae) is native to NEW ZEALAND, and has a boisterous call. The colouration is really cool, with blue, green, and bronze. It has a distinctive white throat tuft (poi). The Tui is the only species in the genus Prosthemadera and is an endemic passerine bird of NZ!
