I love a good all-natural potpourri simmering on the stovetop, but you have to babysit it or else it will run out of water and burn. Been there. Done that! 🙈 Lol!
I get too distracted to remember to check zee pot 😂

So, I took the same stovetop concept but made it forgetful proof. May I present to you crockpot potpourri. Set it and forget it. My kind of potpourri! This will keep your house smelling springtime fresh all day.

♨️recipe
2 cups water
1 lemon, sliced
1 lime, sliced
1 orange, sliced
A sprig of rosemary
1 tbsp vanilla extract

Change up the ingredients to fit your mood. Set to high and let the crockpot heat up for an hour or so before venting the lid (optional). I find that helps increase the aroma around the house. Turn to low and let simmer throughout the day.

I get two uses out of one recipe. When you’re done using it for the day, jar up the ingredients and store in the refrigerator. When you’re ready to reuse, pour the ingredients into the crockpot and add more water if necessary.
