The St Ives Bay Line - Is this the Best GWR Branch Line in Cornwall?

Hi everyone! The next branch line in this mini-series is a trip from St Erth up to St Ives on the St Ives Bay Line. And what a beautiful line this is - not very long but the amount of scenery that's crammed into it must make it onto everyone's must-do list. Of course it helps if you get great weather, so I was very lucky in that respect.

Join me as I first alight at Lelant to check out that request stop, have a look around and finally flag down the train heading back to St Erth. I then carry on to the coast passing some beautiful bays before stopping off at Carbis Bay and ultimately, St Ives.

I'll tell you a bit about the line and surrounding area as we go along and by the time we get to the end, I hope you'll have enjoyed it as much as I did. A tremendous line - probably the best in the county if not the country.
