About Artists:

Manjusha Kulkarni-Patil:
Manjusha Tai started her initial training under the guidance of Pt. Chintubua Mhaiskar.Then she continued her taalim from Pt. Kanebua of Ichalkaranji of Agra and Gwalior Gharana. She continued her training from late Pt. Narendra Kanekar, a senior disciple of Pt. Kanebua and from Dr. Vikas Kashalkar. Currently she in honing her advanced skills under the able guidance of Gantapasvi Padmashree Pt.Ulhas Kashalkar. She has been gifted with a forceful & seasoned voice. Tunefulness, confidence of rhythm, purity in exposition of Raga, complex patterning of 'Taan', speed & clarity are a few other highlights of her singing.

Pt. Nayan Ghosh:
He is acclaimed worldwide for being the only maestro with a superlative command on the Tabla and the Sitar. He received his training in tabla, sitar and vocal from his father, the renowned tabla maestro and guru, Padmabhushan Pt. Nikhil Ghosh. He also received invaluable guidance from his father’s Guru, the ‘Mt. Everest of Tabla’ Ustad Ahmed Jan Thirakwa.He has also received additional guidance in sitar from the eminent sarod maestro Pandit Buddhadev Dasgupta. Presently, Nayan Ghosh heads Sangit Mahabharati, one of India’s premier music education and research institutions and has been imparting advanced training to numerous young aspiring musicians.
