A new exhibit gives voice to the Pueblo people

The exhibition 'Grounded in Clay: The Spirit of Pueblo Pottery' at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston offers a look into the rich cultural traditions of the Pueblo people.

It's the first Native-curated exhibition at MFAH, which included a a group of more than 60 individual members of 21 tribal communities. Tara Gatewood was among them.

"The story of the Pueblo people is an American story," Gatewood said. "If you really want to know about U.S. history this is the beginning place."

The exhibit is on view through January 12, 2025.
