Kate Bush, is one of the most extraordinary artists of the Rock Era. She has an incredible way of manifesting her untamed imagination into an emotional, cinematic musical experience, that is truly unparalleled. The music of Kate Bush is wildly esoteric, and so interesting, unpredictable & affective. There is constant innovation with no rule book on song composition, as Kate challenges our senses- weaving in simulated sounds of jungles, helicopters, sheep, Aboriginal chants, demons, and an even an angry mule:

Once you REALLY listen to a Kate Bush song, it incessantly reverberates in your soul- like a guardian angel. Kate’s biggest hit in America, the haunting “Running Up That Hill” (A Deal With God), has had a pop culture renaissance because of placement of the song in a climactic scene in Season 4 of the Netflix smash series Stranger Things: The use of the song has opened a new horizon of artistic expression for a new generation of fans to discover the timeless genius of Kate Bush, and became the #1 most downloaded track on Apple Music’s iTunes chart, and #1 ‘most streamed’ song on the U.S. Spotify Chart- almost 40 years after its original release.

Before the release of Kate’s seminal Hounds of Love album in 1985, she had released 4 albums of exquisitely crafted art rock- beginning with her debut LP The Kick Inside in 1978. The lead single from the album was “Wuthering Heights” showcasing Kate’s towering vocal majesty.“Wuthering Heights" levitated all the way to #1 in the UK, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand: “Wuthering Heights” was followed by the tender examination of “The Man with the Child in His Eyes” that went to #6 in the UK:

Between 1978 & 1981, Kate scored nine Top-20 hits in the UK, over 3 platinum selling albums. However, sales dipped considerably for her 1982 album The Dreaming. Although it was another stimulating record, full of intriguing tracks, the declining sales, and futility of the last two singles released from the album, put Kate in a challenging position with her label, EMI Records.
