In this video, I'm going to show you how to remove the "www" to shorten your website URL to make your website name more visible. You can do this with a primary domain registered with Squarespace or one registered with a third party.

Start by opening your Squarespace website settings.
Click the primary domain to open its settings.
Switch Use "www" prefix off. Your choice is saved automatically.
You can close the Settings window.

For a third-party domain, open the website settings and click the primary domain name.
Switch Use "www" prefix off. Your choice is saved.
You can close the Settings window.

When you open a browser and type in the website name (in this example, "kerryathompson.com"), you'll open the website. Notice that the URL shown is now a shorter version without the "www."
