Black Snow is a conceptual solo musical exploring ‘night time’ as a parallel world distorting reality, and intensifying emotions. Loosely inspired by Bergman’s Persona, and Sarah Kane’s 4.48 Psychosis, Valerie presents a twisted concert and performative journey with melancholic undertones and uplifting energy. A place to lose yourself. The original music delves into themes of loneliness, love, anger, and hope, with melodic songs floating delicately like imaginary landscape, next to faster, liberating rhythms asking you to get up and dance with her.
The script written by Valerie invites you to reflect and open up your horizon, like a dream or a journey to a forgotten land: A chance to unravel the meaning of life.
With a define and uncluttered aesthetic Valerie projects a strong physicality to reveal herself with uncompromising honesty.
