When Jerry and Quacker have managed to scare off Tom thanks to the invisibility cream (Vanishing Cream) and happily walk away, Tom, who sees the ruse, sneaks inside the closet (without Jerry and Quacker seeing him) and, upon discovering the Vanishing Cream and applying it on his arm, he, realizing the opportunity to get his revenge, decides to use it to give Jerry and Quacker a taste of their own medicine. Meanwhile, Jerry and Quacker are delighted that Tom is gone for good and continue gloating until the now-invisible Tom sneaks up on them and whacks them with a shovel. Realizing that their plan has ultimately backfired on them now that Tom has discovered their invisibility trick (and with the tables now turned for them), the terrified and defeated Jerry and Quacker attempt to flee while Tom continues chasing and whacking them in satisfied (and victorious) revenge.
