Three people have been injured following an incident at the Sisters Rodeo on Saturday night. During the final section of the bull riding event, a bull jumped a fence, went out of the arena, and entered an area with spectators.

Officials say the bull ran through the rodeo grounds and then went back to the livestock pens.

“The Rodeo Sports Medicine Team, Sisters-Camp Sherman RFPD, and Cloverdale RFPD, rodeo staff, and local law enforcement responded immediately with first aid and care. First responders confirmed that three persons were injured as a direct result of the bull; two of whom were transported to a local hospital,” Sisters Rodeo said.

Videos posted on social media show the bull striking one person, sending them flipping into the air.

The condition of those taken to the hospital has not been released.

“We wish the best to all affected. The safety of our fans is our highest priority and we appreciate their support,” Sisters Rodeo stated.
