Originally I was going to dive into tactical deployments but after a chat with some of the Lordz, decided to touch on some of the background structures that tend to be overlooked.

NTW tries to balance historical accuracy with fun gameplay. Unlike other mods, it offers both strategic and tactical considerations which are represented in a variety of mechanics covered in this video. Things like scale of maps, unit scale, speeds, etc all have reasoning behind them. I try to touch on some of those mechanics here, but the Lordz have mountains of research behind many of their decisions.
