The Ramling Bet in Bahe near Uran Islampur was established when Lord Ram while returning from Lanka was mesmerized by the beauty of this iconic location. He stayed there with Lakshman and Sita for four days and built a Shivling which still exists and is worshipped. Later in the 17th century, Samarth Ramdas Swami built a Hanuman temple which is one of the holy 11 Maruti temples in Maharashtra.
