RCK McKAY'S TAMMY GRIME'S TRIBUTE/BUS STOP STORY from Ziegfeld Society 2017 Event

Tammy Grimes (1934-2016), two-time Tony Award-winning actress, Broadway and film star, the original star of "The Unsinkable Molly Brown, “appeared” in her own tribute, "THE UNSINKABLE TAMMY GRIMES" - directed by Walter Willison with musical direction by Mark York, on April 29th, 2017, since I had filmed her for my "Rick McKay's Broadway: The Golden Age Film Trilogy." The first installment, "Broadway: The Golden Age," is available on Amazon.com. Part 2, Broadway: Beyond The Golden Age, will be available in theatres, streaming, and on DVD in early 2018; and Part 3 soon after. Both Jane Summerhays and Walter Willison, who appeared in the revue/tribute live performance, are also wonderful in the upcoming second installment, where they appear with Tammy, in what is her final film. She is absolutely brilliant -- as you can imagine from being the first audience to see the footage in this clip with Tammy talking about appearing on Broadway in BUS STOP, which few people realize ever happened.

You are so missed Tammy. There will never be anyone remotely like you again -- on stage or off. Thank God we captured you on camera in this precious footage.
