Castlevania Symphony of the Night: Prologue [Animatic]

Wowee I love Castlevania
So I went feral over the announcement of Castlevania: Nocturne on Netflix a while back because Richter is my favorite Belmont, which sent back down the Castlevania rabbit hole. I picked up Symphony of the Night on PS4 and it was SO GOOD, and the dialogue was weirdly solid. So, I decided to do an animatic of the opening prologue of the game in a similar style to Powerhouse's series with some obvious personal flair and liberties.
Hire me Powerhouse let me animate my favorite Belmont I will cry.

EDIT [10.26.23]: Thanks so much for 21k views on this thing!! I loved making this and wanna do more with Castlevania projects, so maybe I can finally do that at some point. In top of saying thanks, I wanted to also mention why I used the remaster dialogue instead of the meme-ified original. It's actual really simple: It's just a better line read😅. The actors are doing a better job in the new version and even though it's missing "that" line, the original audio is just... NOT Powerhouse Castlevania, and I think it'd be hard to take the animatic seriously with just how cheesy it is (I still love it, just not for this lol). It's also strange to see that people didn't like Nocturne because I enjoyed it! It doesn't hit the highs of the first two seasons of the original, but Richter's going in an interesting direction, and I want to how they adapt his story more. Anyways, thanks a bunch! Keep watching the animatic over and over, it gives my brain the feel-good juice.
