Drone footage of what was the runway made famous during the Battle of Khe Sanh (21 January – 9 July 1968)
You can see the revetments that the aircraft used for limited protection on the left of shot at the start of the run and then on the wartime photo.

Many tourists seem to visit the wrong airstrip which you can see is very short and over to the side of the large building.
The M48 tank and M113 are on display and those pictures are from today.
