How to paint

Hi!

It looks like some of those who backed Marvel United from CMON are receiving their basic boxes about now, so we decided that it's probably a good time to reveal a little surprise that we've been working on 🙂 Let's learn how to do the #bigchildchibi style!

We teamed up with Miniature Night Painting to make a tutorial series on how to paint a Marvel chibi! The specific example is Yondu but the process and techniques are the same for all of them. This is how we did it!

If you want to paint them like us, we'll be releasing one video each weekend so that you can follow along! Just try to imitate Ruben on your all minis, one by one, get the practice in, and each week as we release the next step you can advance all of them at the same time. The idea is that you pactice each step until you master it, and them move along.

It's going to be a series of 6 videos: the first three will be the basic figure (the clothes, the coat and the skin), then we'll go over a small NMM sub-assembly (in Yondu's case, the arrow), and on the last two we will do the lighting effect.

We will also be re-releasing all the public photos of these figures on our social media for reference 😉

Take your time, practice these steps and, if you have questions, ask us and we'll try to help!
