Constitution Day is the national day of Norway and is an official public holiday observed on 17 May each year.The Norwegians will often celebrate with big parades with everyone dressed up in their special outfit (bunad). People eat hot dogs, waffles and ice cream and the children play playground games.Bergen has its own traditions for the parade, including comic troupes, various local organisations, a children's parade, and the unique buekorps.
