Muslim Coalition Boycotts Biden Eid in Response to the Administration's Callous Response to Israel's Bombardment of Gaza

More than 30 local and national Muslim organizations joined AMP leadership, politicians, and Muslim leaders from around the US in an unequivocal rejection of President Biden's Eid celebration hosted by The White House on Sunday, May 17th, 2021.

Speakers such as Lamis Deek, Dr. Osama Abuirshaid, Raja Abdulhaq, Nihad Awad, Dr. Omar Suleiman, James Zogby, Linda Sarsour, and guests from Gaza, Malak Mattar and Anas El Farra discussed the Muslim community's imperative to take forceful action to change US policy in the region.

The event was the culmination of a campaign that collected more than 7,000 pledges to #BoycottBidenEid as a collective show of disapproval of the Biden administration's handling of the current crisis in Palestine.
