Interview with a Japanese Blacksmith: Shigeyoshi Iwasaki. Shigeyoshi Iwasaki is famous in the wetshaving world for his handmade Japanese straight razors, known as kamisori. In one of our favourite interviews in Springhammer, Iwasaki-san describes the landscape of post-war blacksmithing, and how he and his colleagues reimagined an industry.
