My Explore#1 - Liberty In Christ Church, Stroudsburg, PA 9/1/24

In my quest to become a "Church Lady", lol, I got to explore my first church. I had a wonderful experience, I listened intently, and I very much appreciated! It was almost a fortuitous event that this church was the one I found when I googled "what sermons are at 11 am today in Stroudsburg, PA".

The Pastor (I think that is what he may be) is Pete Begley. I know he is a musician, he hails from NY (city, one of the boroughs), he was a Borough Councilman in East Stroudsburg, PA (neighboring town to Stroudsburg, we all kind of consider them one and the same, although they are not - my mailing address is ES but my kids' school district is Stroudsburg Area - so go figure :) He is also an afficionado of U.S. Constitution literacy!!! Yay! So up my ally.

Anyway, it was great. His sermons revolved around Labor Day and how bible sections touch on advisements regarding our working lives. He will probably have it up on YouTube in a couple of weeks I hope! And it MIGHT be live streamed to Facebook - I do see this:   / pete.begley.7  

Next weeks he will be sermon-ing on the Anniversary of 9/11.
