Perhaps one of the most beautiful 'sad songs' ever written.

I absolutely adore the lyrics and the melody in this song.

I think the power and simplicity of the story told in this one is needed more now than ever.

In addition to a stripped down acoustic rendition this time around, I thought I'd try to layer on a simple lead guitar and do my best to add a little bit of texture to some of the sad (but beautiful) emotion in this incredible song.

I hope I've done it some justice.
