As you know on this channel we prioritize length retention. A good way to help with that is doing styles that will last days before you have to wash your hair again. Being in your hair less + having moisturized hair= length retention. Hair that is dry breaks and is weaker. If our hair is being managed all the time we also want it to be soft and strengthened.

The oat deep conditioner that I use can help with moisture retention before you even apply the styling products. I have found that a good foundation BEFORE styling your hair makes the style come out PERFECT. It helps your hair retain moisture and keep it soft for days when the deep conditioner has left a lasting mark on the hair.

The flaxseed gel prepoo will make detangling a breeze! I've been using this prepoo for about a year now. Flaxseed gel has so many benefits one of the benefits that we can see is the AMAZING amount of slip that it has. I recommend this if you struggle with detangling and washday.

This braid lasts for days! I'm currently on day 5 of this same braid out as I write this. I typically find that I don't need to refresh my hair before wash day when I've taken the time to really give my hair the care that it needs to flourish. Natural hair isn't hard it's actually really easy once you learn how to properly care for it!
