As we enter into 2024, we are now down to just 3 surviving examples of the 30 B7TLs purchased by Arriva North West delivered new in early 2006. This one recorded is the top of the shop 4129 CX06 EBM operating a journey on Route 699 which links Greenbank Student Halls in Mossley Hill with the University of Liverpool and the City Centre. 4129 was one of few that Speke retained for a number of years and this one got withdrawn in late November last year. The 3 surviving examples currently ply their trade out of Birkenhead and Bootle depots. It’s only a matter of time you’d think before the lot are consigned to history. This one sounded really nice during a rather quiet period of day for the route to be operating.
