TOYOTA GT86 TRACKDAY - Endurance race pt.1 - LLCC Staffetta Varano de' Melegari

The video I forgot. Part 1

Endurance Team Race, 1 track, 2:30h time, 7 teams, 21 drivers, mixed classes. Two driving stints for each driver, no refueling admitted for the entire race time. Other than that, being consisten, being fast, having fun!

I teamed up with an MX5 NC 2.3 and a Lotus Elise S2 and drove the 3rd and the final stint. First out was the MX5, in the middle the Lotus.

Car was pretty basic at the time:
BC Racing ZR 8/8 coilovers
Whiteline BSK016 sway bars
Hardrace rear suspension arms
Powerflex blacks all around
Filter panel, exhaust and a tune
Ferodo DS1.11 brake pads

I decided to go out on my standard street tires, a set of Yokohama V105 225/45 R17 to be as consistent as I could, not stressing to much the OEM brakes with the stickier tires. Of course that meant I had to manage the tires as they came out of their working window. But that turned out to be the wisest choice!
