Want to do a selfdrive safari in Africa, but dont know what it is like or what you can expect?

Moremi game reserve is a great choice for first timers doing selfdrive safaris - it is diverse, and has everything africa has to offer in terms of wildlife since being so close to the okavango delta

It is also fairly close to Maun which is the safari capital of Botswana, and just a few hours drive from the game reserve.

Close to Moremi is also the Khwai area which is easier to navigate as it is closer to the main gravel roads. Khwai is my favorite to be honest, since you are right in the middle of everything all the while being close to the nearest civilisation, which makes it less stressful especially if you do this for the first time or have a breakdown or somehing like that.
