Witcher signs are an interesting topic when it comes to the history and lore of the universe. This use of magic by witchers is a iconic part of the monster fighting abilities but the way in which they are depicted thought the different forms of media that make up the witcher series differs from source to source in essence the books gave use the basic background and concept of witchers signs, but the video games expanded on the base the book created greatly, thus this means that given the difference between mediums the function and lore of witcher signs can differ depending on the context of the medium. This video will be looking at witcher sings across both the books and the games, presenting the lore from the books then expanding upon that with the addition of lore from the games

The History and Lore of Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher is quite unique in its approach taking inspiration from legends and folk tales with his own twist on it. The Dark world, full of magic and monsters is as complex, especially politically as the likes of George R. R. Martin's A Song Of Ice & Fire. But There different approaches to world building means the extent these realms are fleshed out differ in certain areas. The World Of The Witch is more of a backdrop for the story and characters such as Geralt Of Rivia to inhabit. In this series we will be taking a deep dive into the history and lore of this world. In this video we take a look at the detailed world map of the continent of the world of the witcher stories, with a focus on some key geographical elements that make it stand out. In terms of history and lore of specific places that will come in future videos.
