Discovery Mapping is a location sharing feature that allows users to actively participate and contribute to the enhancement of the Helium Mobile Network and, in return, have the chance to earn rewards with MOBILE tokens for their efforts. 🙏

Why does it matter?

Knowing where users move about in a typical day allows us to give clear guidance to community members who want to help us deploy additional coverage in high usage areas. We will be using your location ONLY for that purpose! 🔐

What’s up with my privacy?

To respect user privacy, Discovery Mapping is an exclusively opt-in feature. You will not be mapping or have a chance to earn rewards UNLESS you manually enable and accept the feature in your Helium Mobile app.

What's "Genesis"?

Discovery Mapping is in Beta. We are beginning with a "Genesis" rewards structure that requires the presence of mapping events. The exact number and timing will change frequently in the first few weeks as we learn more about the data we are receiving! 💪
