I ask four questions about breast cancer on my Instagram, this series of videos shares some of the responses that were sent in, and they are powerful stories.

Today is question 2: What Breast Cancer Treatment did you have and what was the most challenging part of your treatment.

Real-life stories of those affected by breast cancer.

With one woman being diagnosed with breast cancer every ten minutes, it is the most frequent cancer among women in the UK.

Breast cancer affects over 55,000 women and 370 men in the UK each year. In the UK, over 11,500 women and 85 men pass away from breast cancer each year; this equates to roughly 1,000 deaths per month, 31 per day, or one every 45 minutes.

Despite the fact that there is no cure, there are therapies that can help control some forms of the condition for a while and alleviate symptoms to let people live as normally as possible.

In the UK, there are about 35,000 persons who have secondary breast cancer. By the time breast cancer is discovered OR breast screening is done, it has spread to about 5% of women.
