The last video I did was a boil test on my new GSI Halulite Minimalist using the Little Soda Can Stove. Since then I've had requests for more boil tests using just about every stove and burner I have plus some.

The Minimalist is suppose to be part of a light weight cooking kit but it looks like it's intended to be used with a small canister stove. Personally I think that using a canister stove with this kit, even if the stove is small, kind of gets in the way of making it a light weight kit. What I want to do is try the other burners and stoves that have been requested and see what choices might make for a good cook kit.

In this video I'll be trying the Vargo Triad Titanium Stove. This is one of the few pieces of "Gramweinie" gear that I have. It weighs in at about 28.4 grams but I hardly ever used it because it's hard to fill and even though it gives a nice blue flame it seems a bit slow on boil times. But is one on the few center-burning jet stoves that I have so I thought I would try it out.

I'm looking for a center-burning stove because the Minimalists has that caution not to use a burner that lets flames run up the sides of the pot. That's why I'm using a can top for a lid in these tests. I get the feeling that the gasket on the Minimalist's lid is not made of silicone and I'ld rather not ruin in in the testing.
