This is an ultra-rare live recording of 3PM. Their music overall had taken a shift composition-wise from the Better Late Than Never release. If they had released a second album, it most likely would have consisted of material heard in this live show. But no second album was ever released. I have no idea why. On almost every track there was a ton of soloing and prominent bass work by Jerry Peek and not the usual amount of fine dual-guitar work. To me, it seemed like this live show was Peek being backed up by the rest of the band. It didn't really work for me overall being a legato or ostinato fusion guitar junkie myself.

I listened to all 54 minutes of this show and selected the best songs, IMHO. What is still a mystery to me is this -- when I saw them live many times -- they always had a synthesizer that Bernie and/or Jerry would play in their live gigs. It added an extra fullness to their performance. Yet on their album Better Late Than Never and also during this live show in Raleigh, NC -- you will not hear any synth work. I just find that a bit odd -- at least to me. Whatever . . .

I did a re-EQing of the songs presented here to add more low end and just a smidgen more of high end. They do sound somewhat more in-your-face, presence-wise.
