(4K) Hong Kong to San Francisco TRIP REPORT United Airlines UA 862 Boeing 777-300ER Economy Plus

After a couple of weeks in Taiwan and Hong Kong, it was time to fly back to San Francisco. In recent years, most of my overseas trip have been on United. Though United may not offer service like what you would receive on other Asian carriers, I actually find it much more convenient to fly on United. Its website and mobile app allows you to choose seats much more freely than the likes of EVA, Cathay...etc. You can switch seats all the way till boarding time! Now try that on other airlines. Now back to this flight, overall nothing to complain about. It was actually pleasant and uneventful. The meals weren't that bad at all and it seems that over time, UA has improved on their meal catering. Though it be nice to have another option besides omelet for the breakfast service. Overall, a great flight.
