Описание к видео RNAV 29 @ KRYV Grumman AA5B “tiger” n28684 for sale fully coupled autopilot

Starting at around 7500 feet MSL and north of the airport, in moderate turbulence (surface winds were 19kts gusting to 35kts), I set up the GFC500 autopilot coupled to the IFR certified GNX375 gps, using dual G5s to fly the RNAV runway 29 approach starting at the GREAS transition. I manually input the altitude stepdowns via the autopilot, but the horizontal nav is completely controlled by the autopilot in this entire movie. Upon crossing ATOHU (FAF) the autopilot captures the glideslope and then controls our descent. Minimums are 600 agl but I let the ap fly us down to around 200 agl, before disconnecting and hand flying the landing…which is where the video ends. Manual control over throttle, rudder, and elevator trim are still required in this setup but otherwise the GFC500 is flying it all. As you can see with the bumps and turbulence, this is a rock solid system and a fantastic IFR machine that can easily take you safely to minimums and below when in the soup.
