Trainz Railfanning Pt 206: East Coast Shinkansen, Virginia Beach Station, Cape Henry

In this Trainz Railfanning Video, we'll be visiting a fictional route where the Bullet Train runs along the east coast of the United States. This is Virginia Beach Transfer Center, a station where all the East Coast Lines stop in the shadow of the Cape Henry Lighthouses. The East Coast Main Line runs from Fulton Center, New York City to Key West. Four of the eight tracks at this station from the Washington Branch, a line that runs to Fulton Center via Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia and Newark Airport. The East Coast Main Line runs in a tunnel under the entrance to the Chesapeake Bay, then after 10 miles, it emerges above ground at the Fisherman's Island Wildlife Refuge, then it hops across barrier islands until it reaches Assateague Island, then Fenwick Island, Cape May, Atlantic City, Bay Head, Long Branch, Barnegat, Sandy Hook, then Fulton Center. The lines merge going south through the Outer Banks, then at Charleston, they split again. The East Coast Main Line continues to hug the cost until it reaches Key West. The Gulf Coast Line starts at Charleston and runs along the West coast of Florida, then along the Gulf Coast before crossing the border and continuing to Mexico City.

The E5 Series runs from Washington, D.C. to Key West International Airport with limited service to the Key West Lighthouse
The 700 Series runs from Fulton Center NYC to St. Petersburg, to Pensacola, or to Miami Beach, with limited service to DisneyLand.
The Doctor Yellow Shinkansen usually monitors the tracks, but occasionally is open to passengers.
