An online panel discussion "Russia-Ukraine War: Understanding the Character and Geopolitical Consequences" was held on November 11, 2024, bringing together The National Institute for Strategic Studies of Ukraine, Center for South-Asian Studies of the A. Krymsky Institute of Oriental Studies of NASU, Synergia Foundation (India) and East European Development Institute (project Ukraine and South Asia: Open Dialogues, supported by the International Renaissance Foundation). Presentations by the panelists were:
Introductory speech by Dr. (habil.) Olena Bordilovska, Head of the Department of New challenges, National Institute for Strategic Studies;
The Russian-Ukrainian War: Roots and Impact on the International Order: Dr. Mykola Kapitonenko, Associate Professor, Institute of International Relations, Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University;
Preservation of Ukraine's role in world food trade in conditions of full-scale war: Dr. Ivan Us, Chief consultant, Center of foreign policy, National Institute for Strategic Studies;
Impact of the War on Ukraine: Development Priorities: Dr. Mridula Ghosh, Associate Professor, National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Board Chair, East European Development Institute. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Yulia Fil, Center for South-Asian Studies of the A. Krymsky Institute of Oriental Studies of NASU.
