INGREDIENTS
1 package of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
2 apples (I used cosmic crisp)
RUM CARAMEL SAUCE
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup salted butter (room temp)
1/3 cup dark rum

Step 1
Core the apple and slice it in half. Using a mandolin or knife, slice the apples into very thin pieces to resemble flower pedals.
Step 2
Unroll a cinnamon roll, and place the sliced apples along the dough, slightly overlapping each pedal. Then roll the cinnamon dough back up, carefully keeping it in place to resemble a rose. Place the roses in a muffin tray and bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.

FOR THE SAUCE
Step 3
In a saucepan or pot, combine the sugar and water and slowly simmer until the sugar dissolves. Then crank up the heat and bring to a boil. WHen the mixture turns brown, stir in the butter until it's melted. Turn off the heat, and stir in the heavy cream. When it's all combined, add the rum and set aside to cool.
Step 4
Take the roses out of the oven and let sit for about 5 minutes. The cover in the salted caramel sauce.
