In the light of the letter No. 07/Pro-03-08/20254207 dated 22/11/2025 and letter No.-07/Pro-03-08/2025-142 dated 12.01.2026 of the Secretary, Education Department, Bihar, Patna, in the light of the Bihar State School Teacher (Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action and Service Conditions) Amendment Rules-2023, the special teacher/school teacher of class 1 to 5 has been promoted to special teacher/school teacher of class 6 to 8 and the special teacher/school teacher of class 6 to 8 has been promoted to "Senior Special Teacher/School Teacher" of class 6 to 8 and the special teacher/school teacher of class 9 to 10 has been promoted to special teacher/school teacher of class 11 to 12 and the Promotionspecial teacher/school teacher of class 11 to 12 has been promoted to "Senior Special Teacher/School Teacher" of class 11 to 12 The period of service as a trained teacher under the local body is also to be included in the calculation of the time period prescribed for promotion under the provision of promotion (in-situ reversion) as "teacher/school teacher".

Therefore, all the Block Education Officers will prepare the list of the above mentioned school teachers/special teachers posted and working in the Primary/Middle Schools and Secondary/Higher Secondary Schools under their block in the form attached with the letter and after entering all the details, will ensure to make it available to the undersigned office for further action.
