Process : FILTRATION
Reg-X Filter is in the Standby position at the beginning. When the operator press the "Start" button on the touch screen, the pump starts and the water inside the filter (together with the perlite that is decanted at the bottom) will begin to recirculate in a closed circuit so that the perlite is placed around of the hoses that are hanging from the separating roof, completely covering the hoses with a layer of between 3 and 4 millimeters of perlite. For this step, called “Precoat”, the pump is running and valves EV1 and EV3 are open.
After a certain time, all the perlite got covered and sticked around hoses, and then its time to start the filtration, opening the EV2 valve and closing the EV3 valve, so that now the water driven by the pump enters through the valve EV1, passes through the perlite layer of the hoses (leaving all the particles larger than one micron there, retaining even microplastics) and exits through the EV2 valve back to the pool.
This entire process is fully automatic, using pneumatic valves commanded by a PLC.
