【Episode Summary】
At the end of the Eastern Zhou dynasty, the powerful State of Wu intends to annex the State of Yue. Jiwan, the Yue princess, has fled from her political marriage with Crown Prince Bo of Wu. King Helü of Wu admonishes the crown prince for being such a failure and considers demoting him. Fuchai, the crown prince's youngest brother, wants to keep his brother in power by forcing the State of Yue into submission. Therefore, he steals the tally and sets out for Yue. Meanwhile, King Helü orders Prince Lei to lead the troops to Yue to get Jiwan back.

【Synopsis】
The historical drama is set in 505 B.C. during the Spring and Autumn period.
It is based on the story of King Goujian of Yue who demonstrated great perseverance in enduring humiliation and overcoming the odds to revive his fallen state of Yue and conquer the rival state of Wu.
