Former SAS soldier Vando says releasing the new documentary on the SAS experience is the “right thing to do” in changing perceptions of soldiers.

“We are doing this really for two reasons; first of all it’s the right thing to do, secondly it’s the right time to do it,” he told Sky News host Erin Molan.

“The story of the SAS and our experience in Afghanistan has not been told in its entirety, and it certainly has not been told by us.”
