This is my review of the Korua Shapes Dart. Whether you’re carving stylish lines on groomers, floating through powder, or tackling off-piste terrain, the Dart is engineered to transform every run into an unforgettable ride.

Let’s start with powder performance. I took the Dart out on a couple of powder days where the snow was deep, and this board delivered. Its tapered directional shape and wide nose give it such effortless float; I felt like I was surfing the mountain rather than riding it. Unlike other boards that require you to constantly lean back, the Dart keeps you comfortable and in control, allowing you to focus on enjoying the terrain. The short tail on this board made it so easy to throw the back around and keep everything fluid and playful.

On groomers, the Dart is a carving machine. The full camber profile gives it phenomenal edge hold, especially on hardpack. I was able to dig deep into aggressive carves, the Dart handled them like a dream. Its wide design meant I didn’t have to worry about boot drag—it gave me the confidence to really push my turns further than I usually would.

What surprised me most was how quick the Dart felt when transitioning from edge to edge. I expected a wider board to feel sluggish, but its sidecut is designed so that it remains agile and quick. Whether it was short turns or sweeping, drawn-out carves, the Dart handled it all with ease.

The lightweight core combined with the full camber profile gives the Dart a lively, responsive feel. I loved the energy it brought to carving sessions. I could feel the board snapping back when transitioning between turns—it made every movement feel powerful and fun.

Steep terrain and late-day chopped snow are where the Dart’s medium-stiff flex comes in handy. It remains stable even when the conditions aren’t perfect. This board wants to be ridden aggressively, so it’s best suited for intermediate to advanced snowboarders."

While the Dart excels in powder and carving, it’s not the first board you’d pick for park laps or freestyle riding. I tried riding switch a bit—it’s doable, but definitely a challenge due to the directional shape and flat tail.
