3 Year-Old on a Stand-On Mower!

We are always ready and willing to check out the gardeners working with lawnmowers, leafblowers and other garden tools in our neighborhood, so imagine our surprise when this one waved Harrison over and let him climb on to this Wright Stander X mower -- his first time on anything that big -- and then took him for an amazing and fun ride!

Harrison went lawnmower shopping not so long ago -- now we have a new lawnmower. Think he approves? Note - we got the Craftsman M260 -- 163cc with a Briggs & Stratton engine.

It's hard to believe that Harrison was only two-years old when we bought a Craftsman M260 Lawn mower from Lowes and brought it home. Now that mower has been through a lot in the subsequent years and needs to be seen by a professional so it can run at its best!

Harrison (like most kids) loves lawnmowers and we figured if we could find a real mower that was closer to his size, he would love it. We lucked out and found a used Ryobi 13" 18V Mower (the P1104) and it was perfect for him!

We compare our Ryobi 13" 18V Mower against our Craftsman M260 to see which is the better mower -- and we also try Harrison's Little Tikes Gas N Go Mower for good measure! Which will be the best one? Harrison loves to mow the lawn but he doesn't know which mower is the best to use!

We always have fun using our Cub Cadet riding lawnmower, but this time there was a slight problem when Harrison crashes into his playground set! But all's well in the end, and we still get to do some garden work and mow the lawn!

It's been a cold winter and our backyard iced over -- but suddenly we have a warm day and can really go out to check how things are in the backyard, especially our three mowers: Our cub cadet riding mower, or Craftsman push mower and our Ryobi electric push mower.

Harrison loves to play with his toy mower and after a dog poop scare, he was ready to have some fun with his mom, who took control of the push mower! After taking case of some tricky spots and goind around the yard a few times, Mama and Harrison park their mowers and call it a day!

Lawnmower v. Dump Truck

Harrison loves riding around in his KidTrax dump truck and Dad thought it would be a good thing to pit his driving skills against his on the big 42" Cub Cadet riding mower.

It's spring, and time to clean up the lawn and then take our cuttings to the leaf drop off. Our toddler gets into the action by using his own toy lawnmower and helping put in gas in the Cub Cadet before taking it for a ride himself (with some help).
