Adding or updating bank account details on the GST portal is crucial for seamless transactions and refunds. Here's how you can do it:  

Steps to Add/Update Bank Account Details in GST Portal:

Log in to the GST Portal:

Visit the official GST portal (gst.gov.in) and log in using your credentials (username and password).  
Navigate to "Services":

Once logged in, go to the "Services" tab.  
Select "Registration":

From the "Services" dropdown menu, choose "Registration."
Choose "Amendment of Registration Core Fields":

Within the "Registration" section, click on "Amendment of Registration Core Fields." This option allows you to make changes to the core information of your GST registration.  
Go to the "Bank Accounts" Tab:

In the amendment section, you will see various tabs. Select the "Bank Accounts" tab.
Add/Edit Bank Account Details:

To Add: Click on the "Add New" button. Enter the required bank account details, including:
Account holder's name (as per PAN)
Account number
Account type
IFSC code
Bank name
Branch address
To Edit: If you want to change the existing bank account, select the account and click on the edit button.
Upload Supporting Documents:

You'll need to upload supporting documents, typically a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque or a bank statement.
Verification:

The GST portal may require you to verify the details using an OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email address.  
Submit the Amendment Application:

After verifying the details and uploading the documents, submit the amendment application.
Verification by GST Officer:

Acknowledgement:
