I Have Never Seen Gatlinburg This Busy in my Life!

I went into Gatlinburg today (Sunday October the 13th) and planned on a few hikes in the National Park but my plans quickly changed! As I got into town I realized traffic was not the typical weekend traffic!

I used to vacation down here many times prior to moving and I can say that I have never seen it this busy! I think the combination of Fall break, evacuations from the hurricane, and Fall colors made the area even busier than normal!

Although my plans changed, my day was still beautiful and I consider myself incredibly blessed to live an area people long to vacation. Sometimes things don't go planned for a reason and it makes us slow down and appreciate the beauty we normally miss 🖤
