I thought I was prepared for every outcome
I was wrong...

Running my first 12 hour race I knew this was going to be a tough challenge
I wanted to run 8 laps which would be the furthest I'd ran in a day

But what started off early as a minor annoyance became lap after lap, unbearable.

It seemed to go from 1 to biblical proportions.

A grim reminder that when running in nature, nature is always in control
