WOOTZ steel from rusty springs-Forging a WAKIZASHI sword

In this video, we will melt rusty springs into wootz steel. Then we will show the forging of the wakizashi sword. A lot of work was done for this project, we made a bigger crucible than ever before. The crucible was larger, and it was not easy to forge. The wakizashi sword itself is longer than a regular tanto, so the locksmithing took twice as long . On the vakizashi sword we decided to put a carbon hilt.At the end of the video you can see a brief overview of the vakizashi sword, it is made from original materials.
