In February 2025, Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk launch their new partnership: Gemini Cooperation. This new partnership will create a more efficient and sustainable shipping network for customers.

The Gemini Cooperation will offer a wide range of services across 7 trades, linking all relevant markets with fast and resilient transit times. The network will be centered around predominantly owned or controlled hubs selected for their high quality, performance and efficiency.

Mainline services will be complemented by dedicated shuttle services connecting the hubs to strategic markets with clockwork reliability. Smaller sized feeders will complement the network in the specific markets.

The Gemini network is a key enabler of Hapag-Lloyd's and Maersk's decarbonization goals for the efficient decision making. It will empower both partners to achieve sustainability targets to accelerate also the decarbonization of their customers supply chains.

The Gemini Cooperation is set to be a game changer for global shipping, making Hapag-Lloyd your ocean carrier of choice.
