Full Desk Build in picture mode. Hand tools only (ASMR)

Not only did I build this only using hand tools. I also locally harvested and dried this 400year old spruce myself. The old tree was taken down during a massive windstorm that cut all our power out. It’s was this tree that left us dark for a few days.

I harvested as much as I could and have been making projects with it ever since it dried. This build was easily my favourite and most challenging from this tree. It felt really good going through the process it takes to make something without using any power tools. Something I will do for the rest of my woodworking life. There’s a reason why people still do this and the only way of finding out, is to start the craft yourself. 🤠🤙
