As shown in the video, even with traffic-aware cruise control and Autopilot completely disengaged, Navigate on Autopilot disabled in the menu, and Auto Turn Signals feature set to off, my 2024 Tesla Model Y is unable to properly keep turn signals on after a full push down on the stalk. My turn signals mostly work on other parts of the road, and I’ve been able to reliably reproduce this dangerous vehicle safety error every day on this specific part of the road on my daily commute. This video captures the turn signal auto canceling after 5 flashes (light push on the stalk is a 3-flash sequence) and minimal turning on the steering wheel, on other days it’s a 1-flash, and sometimes 2 flashes, and sometimes the problem persists after multiple pushes on the stalk.

Whether this is a software or a hardware issue does not change the fact that the very mature technology of keeping turn signals on should not be a challenge or a problem in any roadworthy vehicle.
