How to Enable Dark Mode on Instagram

Enabling Dark Mode on the Instagram app depends on your phone's operating system:

For Android (Android 10 and above):

Open the Settings app on your phone.
Navigate to Display (or Display & Brightness).
Look for Dark Mode and toggle it On.

OR

Open the Instagram app.
Tap on your profile picture in the bottom right corner.
Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.
Look for Settings and tap on it.
Select Theme (or Appearance).
Choose Dark.


For iPhone (iOS 13 and above):

Instagram doesn't have a built-in Dark Mode setting. Here's how to enable it system-wide:

Under Appearance, choose Dark.
Once you enable Dark Mode on your iPhone, Instagram will automatically switch to the dark theme as well.
