Create welcomes Stuart Ferguson to the stable with a stomping debut EP. First on the bill is Thumper with its rumbling bass and dark brooding atmosphere. The intro section grows with tech elements and percussions until it abruptly pauses and a stab melody is ushered in. The break develops with pads, risers and bleeps, until it crescendos into a mass of bass energy. As if that wasn't enough, roll on to track 2, M.E.F. Right from the off, you can feel the urgency, 32nd snares lead you into a pulsing bassline you simply can't resist. Techie chord stabs arrive and these show you the way to an unexpected touching melodic breakdown which soars until it bursts back out to bass heaven. This EP is strictly A-sides only, both tracks hitting the mark - a great debut from Stuart.
